I’ve Completed My Trauma‑Informed Practitioner Training 🎉

Updated: Oct 2

ree

I’m excited to share that I’ve completed my Trauma‑Informed Practitioner training.

This milestone deepens the way I work with individuals and organisations — placing safety, choice, collaboration, trust and empowerment at the heart of every interaction.

What “trauma‑informed” means in my practice

Being trauma‑informed doesn’t mean asking people to retell difficult stories.

It means:

  • Safety first — creating spaces (in‑person and online) that feel predictable, respectful and choice‑led.

  • Collaboration, not correction — working with you, not on you.

  • Empowerment — pacing sessions, offering options and honouring boundaries.

  • Cultural humility — acknowledging context, identity and lived experience.

  • Evidence‑aware — drawing on current research and best practice while staying person‑centred.

What this changes for clients

From today, you can expect:

  • Clearer agreements — transparent goals, roles and consent.

  • Gentle pacing — check‑ins, grounding and opt‑outs built into every session.

  • Better signposting — when a different service is the right fit, I’ll help you get there.

  • Environment upgrades — calmer meeting spaces, content warnings where helpful, and thoughtful session design.

New and updated offers

  • 1:1 Counselling, Coaching & Mentoring — for clients and management who want growth without burnout.

  • Team Workshops — “Trauma‑Informed Foundations at Work” (half‑day) and “Leading with Psychological Safety” (customisable).

  • Advisory for Organisations — policy reviews, facilitation support and culture diagnostics with a trauma‑informed lens.

If you’re an existing client, nothing “breaks”; you’ll simply notice more choice points, clearer language and steadier pacing.

My commitment to you

  • I’ll keep learning through supervision and CPD.

  • I’ll seek feedback and course‑correct openly.

  • I’ll never practise beyond scope; where clinical support is required, I’ll refer on.

A note of gratitude

Huge thanks to the teachers, supervisors and peers who shaped this journey, and to the clients who trust me with their work.

You make this meaningful.
