Service Description

Book a Full Session (50 Minutes) at a time that suits you. A zoom link will automatically be sent to your email when payment is made. Somatic Resilience Therapy a trauma-informed, body-based method that helps you reconnect with your natural capacity for safety, balance, and wellbeing. ​ In my work, I bring together humanistic counselling principles with somatic therapy techniques to support the whole person — mind, body, and emotion. Rather than focusing only on thoughts or behaviours, we explore how your body carries your experiences and how you can gently release old patterns of tension or protection. This approach is particularly helpful for those navigating stress, anxiety, trauma, or emotional overwhelm, or anyone who feels disconnected from themselves or their body. ​ In our sessions, I’ll guide you to tune into your body’s signals through breath, movement, and mindful attention. These practices help you build somatic awareness, regulate your nervous system, and strengthen your natural resilience. ​ Clients often describe this work as grounding, empowering, and deeply restorative. Whether you’re seeking support with trauma recovery, burnout, anxiety, or simply want to reconnect with your authentic self, Somatic Resilience Therapy offers a gentle yet powerful path toward wholeness. ​ If the session is online or telephone please make sure that: *You have your computer or mobile set up before the session commences - This includes having your microphone and video turned on. *Turn off your mobile phone ring or mute, turn off Alexa, Siri, etc. *Your computer or mobile is positioned at a sensible height so that I can clearly see your face and that the camera is at eye level. *Please make sure you are in a quiet location. *You will not be disturbed for the duration of the session and that the door to the room you are sitting in is closed. *No-one else is in the room with you. *Being comfortable (use the bathroom before the session, have water/tea to hydrate yourself, dress appropriately, check your room temperature & lightning not just in the room but at your face – seating close by a window would help. *If you are using your computer, remember to have your mobile out of reach and with the sound muted so that it is not a distraction. *You have a box of tissues nearby. *You have not been drinking alcohol or taking drugs before any sessions where they may still be in your body. *You do NOT record the sessions. I will not be record the session.


Cancellation Policy

Due to other clients wishing to use this service I will not reserve sessions until payment is made. Therefore the session time that you have been offered is subject to payment being made at the time of booking. * Appointments cancelled with at least 48 hours notice will be refunded or set against a future appointment. * Those cancelled on the day will be subject to a 100% charge of the full price of the session. * If you do not cancel or attend your appointment you will be liable to pay for that session or all money paid will be forfeited. * Persistent non payment will result in withdrawal of service. * In regards to corporate counselling withdrawal of service will be considered after 2 consecutive non payment (7 day invoice terms.) In the unlikely event I am unable to make a session there is, of course, no charge and I will endeavour to schedule an appointment within the same week.
